There are many “experts” in the dog world that categorize and group dogs by different traits. If you read some of the “experts” on Basset Hounds-you might get the wrong impression of the breed. And while most dogs of the same breed may share certain characteristics-they are all individual dogs. There are variations!
We wanted to give people a “true” picture of the Basset Hound Dog breed by letting Basset Hound owners rate their breed on 15 important characteristics. This would give potential owners and people who don’t know the breed a chance to “meet” a great breed!
